ThingLink

HELLOOO!!!

Today, ı want to share a new app with you. It is called "ThingLink".  By using this app, you can create augment images, videos for your students.

First of all what is Thinglink? I searched before experiencing it and ı found this definition:

ThingLink is a free and user friendly digital tool that provides users with the ability to turn any image into an interactive graphic. Create multiple “hot spots” on specific parts of an image and turn that image into a multimedia launcher.  Include video, record audio or provide a link to any website with the click of a button. Easily embed an interactive ThingLink graphic into any blog or website. ThingLink is a truly amazing tool that allows users to pack a lot of content into a small space

It is so easy to use. You can sign in by using your gmail. Then, you can create your material. I tried to make a body parts chart. First of all, ı found a body image from the Internet, then ı started to find images of sub-parts of body. For example, when you touch eyes, you will see pupil, iris, eyeball ,cornea etc.
You can use Thinglink in language teaching education but how?
Here, as a teacher, comes your imagination skill. For example, in the first week of class where nobody knows each other and you, you may want them to write an identification card for themselves and you can take a selfie. Then, you can create a "Meeting Chart"for your new class. When they touch your face, they will see your name, your interests and whatever you want them to know about you. By using the identification cards, you can add information about each student in the class. Finally, you can share with them. Did you see how imaginative and effective way of meeting?
Imagine the impression that you will leave to your students. How cool!

If you want to see, here is my experience of Thinglink:
