GISTORY

 Hello !
This is my first English blog. From now on , ı will continue to write everything that ı think would be beneficial in English Language Learning. This week I will share a new application which is called ''GISTORY'' . Gistory is an application where learners can learn English by using all the skills. Learner can continue with already made gistories or he/she can create his/her new gistory.  Learner starts learning with filling the blanks activities, listening activities , writing practices and reading practices. It is a new application so it has only 3 gistory now. These gistories are ''Learning Present Continuous Tense'' ,  ''Around the World in 80 days'' and a beginner level Spanish short story ''No Puede Ser Posible''. I couldn't analyzed the Spanish short story but ı analyzed the others for you.

GISTORY 1 →LEARNING PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

It starts with basic questions. It gives you examples of -ing using in Present Continuous Tense.

It also gives you tape recording and control whether you can understand the voice or not. And then, you fill the blank by using -ing.

These were the examples of the Learning Present Continuous Tense gistory. If you check the app, you will find more.

→ AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

In this gistory, learner complete the whole story of ''Around The World in 80 Days'' by using English. Every step has different surprise element. It was my favourite gistory in this app.
The story continue according to your choice.I choosed ''LEAVES FOR THE REFORM CLUP'' in the former question. Then in the next question, ıt wants you to watch the video and summarize it in 1 sentence.

What ı like most is you can see the meaning of some of the unknown words by just clicking on them.
As ı mentioned above, you continue the story according to your choice.

GISTORY has a different perspective in learning foreign language. It gives you different ways of learning and it also gives you a chance to create your own gistory. In foreign language teaching, a teacher can use this app to see what kind of activity is more effective on his/her students.
